All our Coaches at New Hope are certified by the National Youth Sports Coaches Association and background checks are performed on each and every Adult who comes in contact with your child. New Hope is a community park, built by volunteers to provide children with a safe and fun place to enjoy youth sports. Our park offers Baseball and Fastpitch Softball in the spring and summer, and Football and Cheerleading in the fall.  All of our Coaches are NYSCA certified, and background checks are performed on every volunteer who applies to Coach at our park. The health and welfare of the children who participate in youth sports at our park are our number one concern.

SKILLS AND CONDITIONING CAMP

New Hope will be holding a skills and conditioning camp beginning on Sunday, May 31 from 2:00 - 4:00 at New Hope. Camp will be held every Sunday from May 31 through July 12 with the exception of Fathers Day and the Fourth of July. Camp is free and open to any child ages 5 to 12.

FOOTBALL AND CHEERLEADING REGISTRATION TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JUNE 27

We will be holding football and cheerleading registration at New Hope on Saturday, June 27 from 10:00am until 2:00pm. We will be handing out football equipment for those Players who pay their registration in full on Saturday.

2009 Football Registration Fee is $205.00

Registration fee includes $50.00 in prepaid raffle tickets. Participants may keep the proceeds of these ticket sales to help offset the cost of registration. Thus reducing your out of pocket expense to only $155.00 Registration Fee includes a game jersey and game socks that each Player will keep at the end of the season, as well as the use of game pants for the 2008 season. Registration Fee also includes an end of year trophy for each Player. In addition to the registration fee, each participant must leave A $200.00 deposit for equipment. This check is held and not deposited. It will be returned to you once your equipment is returned at the end of the season.

Children will be placed on Competitive or Instructional Teams based on their ability and experience. It’s important to us that each player be placed on a team where he will get as much playing time as possible.

2009 Cheerleading Registration Fee is $225.00

Thus reducing your out of pocket expense to only $175.00. Registration Fee includes shoes, socks, bloomers, pompoms and hair bows for every Cheerleader. Registration Fee also includes an end of year trophy for each Cheerleader.

NEW HOPE JOINS NWGYFL

New Hope will be playing in the newly formed Northwest Georgia Youth Football League in the 2009 season. After much discussion we determined that it was in the best interest of our Players, Cheerleaders, and Parents to join 12 other parks in the forming of this new league. As always, the safety and welfare of our children are our main concern, and forming this new league goes a long way towards helping us continue to reach that goal.
